Probably haven't proofread this enough

I had a pretty good week.
Ran 42 miles last week without too much trouble. Everything still hurts from Peru. Part of that pain (like the bum shoulder) is from not visiting my chiropractor while I was away. Then of course there are the bits (ankles, knees, IT bands) that took an extra beating on the trail and are still upset with me. Starting to feel more "normal". My right thigh is aching, but that seems to happen when I walk into the corner of the desk...as I often do. I could walk around it, but then the desk has won.
42 miles is more than I usually run in a week. Perhaps my body wanted to make up for sleeping through the first week after the marathon.
**********
I started this post a few days ago, then got distracted.
I visited my chiropractor last night and he seems to have figured out the shoulder problem. Remarkable, I have seen all sorts of doctors and undergone all sorts of painful awkward procedures to figure this problem out. My chiro feels my neck and shoulders and finds a problem. I should clarify, I have two chiropractors, and I love them both dearly. Dr Scott owns the practice and is the one who solved my hip problems (again, after years of doctors visits and multiple other chiropractors with no progress). Dr Jeff, who may occasionally be referred to as Dr baby face (seriously looks like a highschooler. My jaw dropped when he was introduced as Doctor) is responsible for the progress we are making on my shoulder.
If they can cure my fear of bicycles...Triathlons, here I come!

A week and a half until my next marathon. I am looking forward to it, but i am also a little nervous. It will be sooooo much different than the Inca Trail marathon. And I have a shoe dilemma. The Mizuno wave alchemy 8 have been replaced by the new model...I ordered them but they won't ship for a few more days, so i won't have time to break them in before Skagit Flats. So I have a beat up pair of running shoes to work with. I am thinking I will just get new inserts to get through the marathon. But I am also considering buying another pair of shoes knowing that they will all get used. Please, any thoughts on this. The marathon is on the 13th.
